On Friday, Division 5 took part in Jump Rope for Heart, a school-wide event. Students learn to protect their heart and brain health, the importance of helping others and get active by skipping rope while raising funds for Heart & Stroke. Donations are due Thursday, February, 27.

If you are done the Good Copy of your New Years Resolutions Essay:

1. Take the Career Paths Quiz: https://www.workbc.ca/CareerCompass/Career-Quiz.aspx?quiz=Ability. You will get several matching careers.
2. Choose 3 careers.
3. Go to FreshGrade and write a comment that says, “I chose _____, _______, and _____ as my matching careers.” (Fill in the blanks.)
4. For each of the careers, answer the following questions as a FreshGrade comment. You will need to research! Answer in paragraph form.
   1. What do people in this occupation spend their time doing? (List all the tasks you can find.)
   2. What education and credentials do I need to work in certain occupations?
   3. Where would I work if I trained for this job?
   4. Will there be jobs in this occupation in the future? Why do you think this way?
   5. How much money will I make working in this occupation?
   6. Who can I contact to learn more about this occupation? (If you do not know someone, research a person or a company in the Surrey or Vancouver area.)
